The Power of Triumphant Faith

There is a principle of silence involved in the actualization of dreams and vision. Whatever it is you want to get done, you must not divulge it but must keep it locked within your heart. (Proverbs 29:11)  What you need to do is to spy the land and know what it takes. The only people you tell are not friends but people that are part of the project. When you have a project in your heart, forget friendships; it is people who have the same interest and will suffer loss if it fails that you should be in discussions with on the matter. What this means, is that they must be involved at the same level as  you. If their commitment level is not the same as yours then they cannot have the kind of loyalty that the project needs and so you must not expect it from them.

You must focus on the project at hand and break it down into practical steps in order to accomplish it, knowing that your commitment level is the same; this is the best way to complete a project. These are the elements that you must look at, not friendship or closeness. Those that have no particular interest might say they will not tell but surely they will. The only people that will not tell others are those that will lose if they do. Rahab would have told; the only reason she did not was because her family would have died, she knew that the price for talking would be the death of her entire family (Josh 2:13 –  14). As a result of the cost and the reward she held her peace. It is essential that you understand that this is part and parcel of human nature. The scriptures also say that Jesus Christ endured the cross for the joy that He saw before Him (Hebrews 12:2b). Nobody will endure anything if there is no reward to look forward to. You need to understand that your business is your business. Just because someone is your friend does not mean you tell them everything, there should be boundaries. This is one of the boundaries in the spiritual realm that people cross; keep your own counsel and respect boundaries. You must ensure that you’re in discussions with only God and no one else.

When you spy out the land, you discover what it will take, then you must take the bull by the horns and you know you are responsible for whatever happens. People can work with you and have different levels of responsibility, but if you are the front man you know that the buck stops with you and  that you are solely responsible for the failure or success of the project. It is true that God builds all things, but He builds it through individuals. So you must be the individual that will carry that business in your heart. You can share it on various levels with different people depending on their level of involvement with you. during this process do not go for cheap things, develop the culture of not taking things free of charge. (2 Samuel 24:24 & 1 Chronicles 21:24) It is not a blessing; in fact Satan is using it to set you up for major destruction. Understand how to pay your bills, know what it is going to cost and understand that God will help you to settle it. Unsettled bills could destroy your image and ruin you as a person.
