The Power of Triumphant Faith

Understanding the power of the spoken words is very essential in life. When faced with any difficult situation, the first thing you ought to do is to direct your words to it. Announce the salvation of God out of your lips over the issue. For instance, when you set a goal in your life, the first thing you should do is to declare right words that will bring about the fulfilment of the goal into your environment. Never speak negatively about your life, or vocation. Do not speak negatively about or over your children or even your marriage to a third party. Caution yourself! This is the discipline of faith. Never forget that everybody is going through the same thing but while some people are voicing out the lying vanities around them and forsaking their mercy, others are voicing out their destination, solution, dreams, aspirations and hopes.

Everybody starts at the same place. Some people go through the same things over and over again. You hear the stories of the circle of their ordeal when you listen to them. Some other ones had their ordeals and moved on to the next level of their lives because their words told the story of their destination and not their plight.  Telling everyone around you what you are going through and playing the victim is neither a language of power/ faith nor of a person who will get results. It is rather an emotional language expressing self-pity and a victim- mentality. Do not announce what you are going through. Announce where you are going! There’s always light at the end of a tunnel.

Stop weeping. Rise up and declare words to that particular situation. Jesus says whosoever shall say to this mountain shall have whatever they say. This principle is applied first before you pray. For any situation, speaking to it should be your first call of action. Declare that you have a God who is your shield, your glory and the lifter up of your head and therefore, through your words, all manner of death is swallowed up in victory.  Look at your dream and use words to reach it. Not ordinary words but words that express clearly that you are already in possession of that particular dream. If you get the words right, then you have taken the first step towards the realisation of your dream. The next step is to try to eliminate doubt from your heart because when you do, you will believe that those things you are saying will come to pass. The word unbelief which is the same as doubt means disobedience or ‘not persuaded’. Literally, it means your heart is not in alliance with what you are saying.

You never get it right by saying the wrong things but saying the right thing places you on the right track. You have to eliminate doubt from your heart. One of the ways in which you can do this is through praying and fasting. This involves spending a time of qualitative fellowship with God. Once doubt is erased, you will come to the point where you will have whatsoever you say. Once the heart and the mouth are in agreement over an issue in the place of prayer, virtue and power will be released to you. You will feel on your inside that which will bring about instantaneous changes into that particular situation.

For the Scripture saith, “Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? (Romans 10:11:14). If you believe and call on the Lord irrespective of where you are, you shall be saved.  If you then call on God and still cannot see the wealth of God within your life, it means you are doing it wrongly. Believe in the saving grace of God’s power by asking for a word from Him that will nullify that difficult situation you are faced with and in turn, automatically remove the doubt from your heart. God will give you information or a word from heaven that will eliminate your doubt(s).

Note that your confessions are very important. If there is doubt in your heart, go to God and ask Him to send a word into your life that will eliminate unbelief and bring you to a place where you will believe that what you are saying will come to pass. This kind of word is called revelation knowledge. Flesh and blood does not grant this revelation. Only God! Put yourself in a place where you can hear from heaven.  As you begin to act on the things that He has said to you in the place of prayer, you will also begin to see the power of God made manifest within your life.
