Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.For this cause we also, since the day we heard it,do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1vs8-10).
There are certain things you need to do for the true desires in your heart to come to pass. The first is you must give yourself totally to the word of God by studying and meditating on it. On the other hand the scripture says, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life (John 5vs39-40). You need to know that it is one thing to know what the scriptures promises and it’s another thing to have the life of those promises on the inside of you. This means that as far as the interpretation of the scripture is concerned you know in real time what you ought to do or the steps you ought to take in order for the growth or increase or victory to come your way. Paul prayed the above scripture for the church in Colossians. This prayer is based on acquiring knowledge in wisdom or having wisdom imparted in the things that you know. He prayed for the church that God will fill them with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. That they might walk worthy of the lord unto all pleasing and that they will be fruitful, will never fail in every good work and will increase in the knowledge of Him (Colossians 1vs9-10).
I therefore, put it to you today that if you have believed God for certain things, or if you are expectant or pregnant with certain things just talk to God about it. Say father I believe I have received those things from you and I know they are mine. But I will daily come to you that you might grant unto me wisdom; then you can now pray the prayer in Ephesians 1vs17-23. Pray that God might grant you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him concerning those things you are believing for.
Pray that He might fill you with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding such that you know what to do.You must understand that it is the word of God that was made flesh- Jesus Himself. For instance, anytime you are in need, you can pray the scripture that says God is your ever present help in a time of need. When you constantly pray and meditate on this scripture Jesus will impart the life of the scripture to you. This means He will give you the direction or steps you ought to take in order for the help of God which is ever present in a time of need to be unleashed and released into this material world for you. There is wisdom for direction and its simple, for everything you know to be true or expect to happen or have seen in the word of God to happen simply pray for the wisdom of God concerning that particular promise and then you will find the steps you ought to take. Ask God to fill you with the knowledge of that will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Or to give you the spirit of revelation in the knowledge of Jesus that your eyes of understanding might be flooded with light. So that you might obtain the victory that He has promised you in that particular situation. There are several things in this world and on this earth that we do not understand but the creator and the architect of all things knows. And it is that wisdom He wants to give to you in addition to your faith; just to give you that tipping point. Therefore release yourself to this wisdom so that you can have clear direction on everything you have believed God to do in your life.
