To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven(Eccl 3:1)
When you enter a new year or season know that it is demarcated by certain events or things that God has in His heart that He intends to do within the earth. But whatever it is that God has planned and purposed we have got to understand that God works through the law of cause and effect or seed time and harvest. Which means nothing divine can come to pass without the human cooperation on the earth. This is because what God intends to do is to open up our eyes to see more of His laws and to understand better how this laws are operating on the earth. Thus, as we bring ourselves into obedience into His divine laws it opens up the door for much more of the fulfillment of His plans and purpose for our lives. We are more in harmony with God and therefore we have peace not just with God but with ourselves and people around us. Furthermore, we also enter into the joy of the Lord and by that a lot of things on the outside will miraculously change.
One of such principles that we need to understand as a believer is the need to control our words because they are far reaching and the fact that one cannot control the wind that blows when words are spoken. Wind will blow and we cannot determine which way the wind will blow in around us. There will be things we did not think will happen that will happen and we will have no control over. However every wind that blows can be used by you as an individual to propel yourself no matter the appearance of the wind or how fierce or harsh it seems to be. You can use the energy in that wind or circumstance to propel yourself into the fulfillment of God’s plan for your life. Remember, no matter what happens nothing can be done against the truth but for the truth and all things work together for them that love God who are working for the fulfillment of the purpose of God on the earth (2Corth13:8, Rm 8:28). Satan might even do things that he meant for evil but God turns everything around for our good once we understand the principle navigating the wind of life effectively. Unpredictable winds which can cause the rise or fall of an individual will surely blow but the people who will rise with the tide of life are the people that understand how to navigate the principles in the word of God through the wind.
The role of our tongue is very important because that is what sets the direction of our life. The bible says, “death and life are in the power of the tongue and those that love it are eating of the fruit thereof (Prov 18:21). In other words death and life are not in the power of Satan but in the power of our tongue and when the bible says those that love it – referring to those that are conscious of the effect of their words by watching what goes out of their lips- will reap its benefit. Such people understand that when words leave your lips out of your heart it will crystalize into definite events and experiences within your life. For you can authorize things to happen to you by speaking words out of ignorance. Every word that comes out of your lips from our heart will count for something in life. That is why the bible teaches us to be slow to speak because words spoken in thoughtless emotional pain bring about the greatest negative circles in the life of a man.
Winds will surely blow but when people move against the tide they begin to slow down in life and they lose momentum and fall back behind. So it is important that regardless of the wind that blows whether good or bad we must know that we do not walk by sight but by faith. Therefore, every wind that blows will push us further once we have the intelligence of God on how seasons or wind changes and how with the use of our words we can utilize the energy that is found in circumstances that seem contradictory even to what we are doing to propel ourselves into a place we were not thinking about. This means to take us into a higher level of glory and fulfillment of things within our lives that we were not even thinking about or planning for.
