The Power of Triumphant Faith

In 2 Samuel 6:1-12 we find the principle of the Ark of God clearly outlined. This same principle can be found in Joshua 3:1-10.  Essentially the Ark of God is a representation of God’s presence and in His presence there should always be singing and rejoicing.(Psalm 16:11) Therefore the first thing about your relationship with God towards the fulfillment of any project is that you have to carry the Ark. God inhabits the praises of his people (Psalm 22:3). Whenever Israel went into battle, the tribe of Judah (Judah means praise) always went first. With this as a pattern, it means that praise should always come first in each and every situation.

The Christian life is one that takes you from one level of glory to the next level of glory. We have found out that God gives you one task and as you finish it, He gives you another which takes you to the next level. This means that we are constantly in a state of motion to places that we have never been before. What was done yesterday is over. God is always saying new things and He is saying that these things are springing up before you, therefore, go with it. If it appears that the supernatural has been inactive in your life for a period of time it means that praise has also been inactive in your life that period of time. The real issue is that the gladness in your heart has left, the joy of the Lord gone, praises and singing is not part of your life any more.

It is only with praise and singing that the manifestation of the supernatural can occur. The levels of miracles that happen in your life is in direct proportion to the level of praise coming out of a glad heart. When you praise the former things will pass away and then new things will begin to appear and start springing up. When your praise begins to go up, the purpose of God begins to emerge in your life.

In order words, God is looking for worshippers who will not praise him from a sad heart but from a glad heart. This is because if you sing praises from a sad heart you will sing one or two songs then stop; but from the gladness of your heart the praises will keep coming and you will not be able to stop. The Bible says that God anointed Jesus with the oil of gladness and because of that, He rose above his fellows. (Ps 45:7) This means that things will begin to show up on the earth as praise begins to show up within your heart. The Bible says your righteousness begins to spring forth, you will be called one planted by God and a tree of righteousness as praise comes out of your mouth.

Who is blind, but my servant? Or deaf as my messenger that I sent? Who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the lord’s servant? Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not (Isaiah 42:19-20). This scripture can be interpreted to mean that the blind person as one that is not praising, the deaf as someone surrounded by opportunities and has not drawn the right conclusions from them. When God begins to bring light in your environment and shows you opportunities that abound, you will know how easy it is for you not to see them i.e. you can be surrounded by things but fail to draw the right conclusions. God might have made the resources available, the potential is there, but you are just not connecting with the thoughts that will cause that particular thing to emerge in your life.

Thus, you need to carry the Ark and begin to move; the Scripture instructs that there should be some distance between you and the Ark (Joshua 3:3-4). If your project is before you, let there be distance so that you can know the direction you ought to take. As you praise, give time in praise over the entire thing and let God begin to manifest, in time the course of action you need to take becomes clear. Ideas will start coming from places you least expect and then you receive direction from where it is necessary.
