“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” (Mark11:23)
Any person operating in the Law of confession believes that his words will shortly produce the events of his life. This means he believes the next set of events coming into his life will be a direct product of the words that are coming out of his lips. He believes what he says will come to pass.
This individual believes this because he has been able to tie the relationship between his experiences and the words he speaks out of his lips. This is because he believes that what he has are the things he has been saying. He has come to realize that what happens in his life happened first of all in the realm of the spirit when he uttered words. That is to say those events are actually words in their earthly form. One can also say that words are events in their spiritual form. You must understand and know that words are not “noise” meaningless. Words are things that will soon show up in the events of our lives. Just as someone might put in a little leaven in a bowl of flour to make it better, they must also understand that when I put words into the events of my life, certain things must start to happen.
One crucial aspect of the Law of confession is how to use your tongue right in a time of crisis. Confessions are actually designed to start producing results once a person starts going through test or challenges. When the battle is on is usually when the tongue actually has the greatest influence to shape the events of the life of a person. The power of the spoken word is crystallized when that individual is going through some tests. Trying times are usually periods when many people want to give up but it is the time God has designed for our words to really produce results. There are things you might have been saying in your heart that are yet to be manifested but when those confessions are tested that is when the opportunity arises for the results to start showing up. When Jesus said by your words you will be justified or condemned (Matthew 12:37) He was speaking about a particular season in the lives of His people. Also when the bible talks about Jesus being the High Priest of our confessions (Hebrews 3:1) these are confessions primarily made when the pressure is on and the person starts speaking those words. But it is usually at these times of crisis that people want to throw in the towel.
Now consider this: when a person is caught in a crime the first thing they do is read him his rights and the first is that he has the right to be silent and anything he says may be used against him in evidence. In the same way things you said out of season when there was no pressure puts you in a position where you have the capacity to follow through when the heat is on. But it is when you follow through at this time that you actually change things in your life. If you get depressed or disillusioned and suddenly change your speech during such periods or time then you might nullify the effects of everything that God wants to do within your life.
